Brotz N.19's team has succeeded in nurturing a welcoming space that brims with youthful energy, bustling in the evening mainly with students from Sunway University nearby.
The cafe does a decent job with Western fare at wallet-amiable prices - we like the Croque Madame, featuring chunky toast layered with melted Emmental cheese & chicken ham, partnered with a fried egg & roasted marinated tomatoes (RM15.90). Other potential crowd-pleasers include pastas (the ultra-creamy, fully loaded carbonara clocks in at RM20.90, with bolognese, marinara & aglio olio also available) & a gargantuan triple deck burger with the works, sufficient for two to share at RM32.90.
Plenty of hearty & intriguing choices for protein - Asian-inspired spiced lamb on lemongrass stalks with rice & masala yoghurt (RM18.90), oat-breaded chicken chop (RM22.90) & salmon fillet with mashed potatoes & house-made spinach sauce (RM27).
Desserts & drinks exude a whimsical sense of playfulness to cap the meal, with tiramisu pancakes, cream puffs, red velvet cakes & pavlovas among the photogenically plated sweet treats. Thanks to Brotz N.19's friendly team for having us here.
