Throwback Cafe's setting offers a step back in time, tucked on the first floor of a Chinatown shop-house. But its menu is decidedly modern, from a pretty tasty pasta bolstered by turkey ham and Hokkaido baby scallops in a light, house-made pumpkin sauce (RM25) to super-smooth Japanese iced coffee (RM18) and tenaciously tangy kombucha (RM15).
