The princely platter showcases slabs of Morganfield's signature Hickory BBQ, Garlicky BBQ, Smoked Peppercorn & Spicy Lemongrass spare ribs, bolstered by the two newbies of Waikiki (a Hawaiian-inspired creation with the refreshing tang of pineapples) & Jalapeno Bourbon (bringing a bit of Tex-Mex heat) - each char-blessed, slowly-smoked flavour is a tasty testament to Morganfield's popularity, conveying distinct dynamics & lots of fleshy, tear-off-the-bone satisfaction. Extra protein is provided by the grilled Fav Four sausages (the plump, juicy Spicy Devil, Herby Hog, Smoky Bandit & Cheesy Cheese), plus cornbread, corn on the cob, French fries, crisp-&-fresh onion rings, a mixed salad, & various sauces that pack a punch. It'll easily feed three to four patrons for RM199.90 nett - a solid bargain to sample six types of ribs in one very substantial serving.
If you need more to munch on, the Onion Blossom colossal bouquet of deep-fried breaded onions with BBQ mayo (RM24.90 nett) is a seasonal indulgence that makes for an addictive indulgence, worth ordering whenever available. For the July-August anniversary celebration, Morganfield's will also be serving version 2.0 of its flagship Begonia mocktail (RM15.90 nett), a revised recipe of its lemon lime soda thirst-quencher layered with passion fruit soda & vibrantly colourful slices of watermelon, kiwi, strawberries, lime & oranges that furnish plenty of fibre.
